Purchasing tickets on board the train
Tickets can be purchased from the train staff at different train ticket fares, if, for whatever reason, the passenger has not purchased a ticket from the railway station ticket offices, CFR travel agencies, authorized agents, vending machines or online:
Important: Transport fares do not include the reservation ticket price!
Train staff issues tickets at ticket office fare:
- for passengers boarding the train from train stopping points:
- if there is no possibility to purchase tickets from authorized staff or vending machines,
- when boarding trains that have an arrival/departure hour outside the ticket office working hours, provided that the ticket is requested immediately after boarding the train, otherwise, the train ticket fare will apply.
2.and in the following situations:
- if the ticket sale is suspended for a limited period of time (railway cashier – ticket seller is on annual leave, medical leave, etc.)
- when the passenger submits a ticket issued on the train at ticket office fare or purchased on the train / a ticket issued by an authorized distributor or a movement inspector, valid for a train that has arrived at the boarding station for the new train, within 15 minutes (arrival hour according to the schedule or due to the delay of the first train).
