Tren Charter

The “TRAIN CHARTER” transport offer is honored on an order basis, specifying the elements:

1. Transport relationship, one way or round trip;
2. The number of passengers to determine the type of car, respectively the number of cars and the composition of the train in the case of the Charter Train;
3. The comfort class you want the transport (I-st class or II-nd class car, sleeping car or berth, bar-bistro car, and so on);
4. Catering service on board of the train – if you want in the composition of the train a bistro bar car or I-st/II-nd class car equipped with a bar
   • Capacity 24 seats, of which 20 seating places and 4 standing seats, air conditioning and sound system (bistro bar car);
   • Capacity 46 seating places and 2 standing seats, air conditioning and sound system (II-nd class car, with bar at the end of the car);;
   • Capacity 52 seats type armchair, air conditioning and sound system (I-st class car with central bar);

   Important! Bar bistro cars cannot be attached to Desiro locomotives.

5. Transportation period:
   • date of departure and return, respectively if the transport takes place back and forth on the same day, with stationing between the two trains or if you want the transport on different days; depending on these elements, the period of train immobilization is made available to you and the technical possibilities of implementation are established;
   • it is important to know if the charter transport program takes place during the holidays of Christmas, Easter, May 1, Summer Season, because during these periods the entire transport capacity provided in a train program is generally used and the classification in the traffic timetable is made according to the possibilities;
6. The timetable of the train/car charter, respectively the departure time from the train guidance station and the approximate time of arrival at the destination station of the train;
   • on the basis of these data it is possible to verify the possibility of attaching the car or of framing it in the circulation charter of the Charter Train and of drawing up the path according to the request;
   • order to the railway infrastructure administrator, for the allocation of the path related to the Charter Train, is made only on the basis of a firm order;
     having these elements, the possibilities of execution of the special transport are analyzed and the price offer is established;
   • price offer is established based on the expenses and tariffs of CFR Călători, in force at the date of requesting the transport and of the other railway companies involved (CNCF “CFR” SA for the allocation of paths, and so on);
7. Charter transports are honored only on the basis of a firm order;
8. Preferably as:
   • • the request for offer to be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the expected date for the transport;
     • the firm order to be advanced at least 20 days in advance of the date established for the realization of the charter transport;
     • the payment must be made in lei, in the CFR Călători account, at least 10 days in advance, with a payment order. Based on the payment order, the fiscal invoice is issued.
