Law no. 33/1996, regarding the reinstatement of certain economic rights of Apuseni Mountains inhabitants, provides for ‘Book moț’ holders (inhabitants of Apuseni Mountains)’ a reduction of 50% of the cost of the ticket, 2nd class, at all categories of passenger trains, such as outward and return, with proof of freight transport document duplicate, that they are running to highlight the products shipped by rail.
‘Book moț’ holders benefit from this reduction, providing wood material services of beneficiary, consisting in clothing and wood repair, both outward and return.
To benefit of the discount, ‘Book moț’ holder presents himself at ticket counter of the departure station with freight transport document duplicate or with evidence signed by the mayor of residence town of the recipient, if he travels to another town for providing wood material services of beneficiaries. Based on these documents, it is obtained with payment the travel card with 50% discount from the cost of the ticket, for the respective train.
Travelling at 1-st class or sleeping/berth car can be made only with the full payment of the tariff differences.
