For the occasion of the short Easter holidayperiod and in the context of increased affluence of traffic generated by the free travel of students, SNTFCCFR Călători” recommends to all passengers to plan in advance the train journey.

Bilete cu anticipaie Purchasing in advance the train tickets, passengers benefit of discounts between 10-25%, as follows:

- 25% discount for tickets bought in advance of 21 - 30 days the date of travel

- 18% discount for tickets bought in advance of 11 - 20 days the date of travel

- 10% discount for tickets bought in advance of 6 - 10 days the date of travel


Buying in advance be cumulated with loyalty discount granted for travelling with successive trains and in addition, 5% discount is granted for buying tickets on line.

The seat reservation fare (day coach class, sleeping car) is paid in full.

In domestic traffic, tickets can be purchased in advance up to a maximum of30 days, including for the return journey.

For organized groups of at least 30 people, the period of advance is within 60 days. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the railway stations and CFR travel agencies (click here) with issuance the electronic travel tickets / vending machines / online, reductions being available for train tickets at full price and for tichets with 50% discount for the child.
