Single tourist tariff on the Oravița – Anina section

Tickets can be purchased ONLINE, subject to availability, 30 days in advance, from any ticket counter with electronic issue system located in CFR Călători stations and travel agencies and from vending machines.
On the train departure day, tickets can be purchased both from Oraviţa station and from the train staff, at the same price (including seat reservation), subject to availability.
Tickets are also issued on this route, by which SNTFC CFR Călători grants commercial offer with the single tourist tariff (discounts: for round-trip ticket, when purchasing tickets in advance etc), as well as facilities for travelling by train based on normative acts (pupils, students, pensioners, revolutionaries, war veterans, persons persecuted for political or ethnic reasons, disabled people).

According to the provisions of OMTI 1039/2024, when travelling on Oravița – Anina route, including when boarding from an intermediate station/stopping point, the single tariff of 7 lei (this tariff does not include the seat reservation ticket tariff) shall apply for the residents of Anina—Oravița area.
Single tariff tickets for residents with permanent address in Oravița-Anina area, in one of the following places: Oravița, Ciudanovița, Goruia, Ciclova Romană, Grădinari, Răcășdia or Anina, shall be issued only at ticket counters and train staff, and the documents required to be submitted in physical format are the following:
- Original identity card or copy of birth certificate for children under 14 years old;
- Certificate issued by one of the town halls of the previously mentioned places, confirming that the person has a permanent address in that city, including for children. The certificate submitted must contain the following data: name, surname, as well as the series and number of the identity document (ID or birth certificate, as the case may be) of the beneficiary, as well as the mention,,Beneficiary of single tariff on Oravita-Anina, section, according to OMTI no.1039/2024”.
According to the aforementioned provisions, a ticket with single tourist tariff, which also includes the seat reservation tariff shall be issued for any passenger who cannot submit the proof of permanent residence in Anina—Oravița area.
Monthly season-passes with unlimited number of trips (amounting to 154 lei), season-passes with 5 consecutive days (amounting to 53 lei) and season-passes with 14 consecutive days (amounting to 108 lei) are issued only for the residents with permanent address in Oravița-Anina area, based on the aforementioned documents.
From July 25, 2024, season-passes with 5 consecutive days and season-passes with 14 consecutive day, valid for 2nd class coaches will be available at ticket counters.
For groups of passengers travelling together under the same conditions (same train, same date, route, class), requests can be made for seat reservations without paying the related transport tariffs.
